What are YOU dying for?

Don't pay too much attention to most dumbshit Americans that have never been past the end of their street let alone have some notion of international politics. They don't have a clue about shit.

Your country sounds like it needs a little help, but the reason the RICH LEADERS of America are doing it with bombs and bullets is to further their riches and power immediately while they are still in control of our government. Poor Iraqis, lower class Americans and the unsuspecting World are duped into notions of WMD's, liberation, fight against terrorism, democracy etc.. but the real issue is that the most powerful and wealthy of world leaders want to control "ALL" world oil supplies and make the work economically to the advantage of the corporations they have a financial interest in and not the local people of the oil bearing countries.

Terrorist hate Americans and others for stealing their riches, just like Americans did to the Native Americans and Terrorists also hate us for trying to economically enslave their people like we did to many Africans.

And more immediately, Bush/Cheney want to make a few bucks contracting with the US tax payer through their private companies Haliburton and KBR. As much as history changes.. it remains the same.

Get educated, enlightened, empowered. And know what the hell you're dying for...

Thanks for you comment Shear.

I do like Moore although I haven't seen his movie yet. My dad put in his 20 and my sister is in currently serving, I got rejected cause I was too old when this war started. I'm currently talking to the Guard.

Just a sidebar, I do believe America has suffered plenty of non-military deaths for the record.

As far as what I believe... I only believe facts, not what anyone spoon feeds me, including good ol' rebel rousing Mike.

I'm sure most adults at some point in their life understands "EVERYONE" has their agendas. I see from what you say, you believe your fighting for peace, but I urge you to research for yourself what factors have determined throughout history whether we attack foreign countries when an ongoing war is not already underway.

It's interesting to see the subtle differences between the countries we're bent on bringing peace to and the countries we are not. Their are countries that have been a threat to world saftey for ages and we continue to seek diplomatic ways to control their effect on the war, but haven't dropped a single "peace bomb" on them yet.

Anyway I could go on and on about why I feel the way I feel, but the best I can do is encourge people to see through the politics, understand that humans will sometimes tell you what they think you need to hear and that typically those that are in power, have the money and influence are typically there because they know how to further their agenda and the agenda of their partners and they know how to work people.

There are people on the getting worked over and used side of the scale and the people on the working over and using side of the scale and typically the latter has the money and power and the former can't really put a finger on why they are the lower class. They just have a general sense that "the man" is getting over on them, but they are not shrewd enough to see how it's being done everyday.

As far as the aristocracy... who ever said it was gone?

The rich and powerful have always been there and will always continue to do the things they do to stay there. Like you insinuated about putting your life on the line. You do have to be immersed in the realty of war to have a real appreciation for the magnitude... I would say the same about understanding power and influence. You have to be exposed to it and opened to understanding the deeper meanings and motivations behind human behavior (event he ugly stuff) to have a true appreciation of it.

Polly Anna soon grows up and sees the ugly monster of human greed rear its head.
